The company runs the production, further processing, sales of one of the major traditional Chinese herbs, Dahurian Angelica Root (DAR) that is widely used in medicine to fight against pain, high blood pressure, cancer etc., as well as other industries like cosmetic, chemistry. We participated the making of national standard of DAR, and the GAP (Good Agriculture Product) which has just been approved by the State Food and Drug Administration and became the sole standard of DAR. CHRI is located in Sichuan province, where grows the finest DAR and its total output accounts for over 70% of the country's.

The Product

CHRI signed merger letter of intent (LOI) with Sichuan Zhufeng Medicine Co. (a company with GMP certified factory). It will give a boost to the accomplishment of the industrial chain integration plan of CHRI by forming a GMP (Good Manufacture Practice) pharmacy which is one of the three parts of the industrial chain, for the merged Zhufeng will become the production base of CHRI for DAR processed products. Zhufeng Medicine Co. is a pharmacy with the primary business of 20 types of biological medicines production. It has a factory consistent with GMP criterion. Its core product, Saffron Oil, is the first class medicine in China . The output and revenue in 2006 was $ 8 million.
